How do I make a reservation?
Call or email us to determine that your preferred vacation rental is available for the dates you have chosen. We are happy to work with you to answer any questions you have about the home(s) you are interested in. When you are ready to move forward, please make sure we have your name, phone, email, and mailing address, as well as the number of adults, children, and pets. Upon receiving this information we will work with you to process your initial payment. Your payment constitutes your agreement to our terms and conditions.
We often receive multiple inquiries on the same property for the same set of dates. It is our policy that the first group to submit their payment, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and have their reservation approved will be the one that is able to make the reservation.
We currently offer a “book now” button on our website. By entering your information there, it places a courtesy hold on the dates you have requested for up to 24 hours. You will receive an email with additional information we need to finish processing your request. Once the reservation is approved your credit card will be charged for the first half due upon booking.
What is the minimum night stay?
The minimum reservation during the summer is typically one week. Check each property or contact us for more information.
When is the money due?
50% is due upon booking, and the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. For reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival, payment is due in full upon booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
We gladly accept personal checks as well as Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards as forms of payment.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
In the event of a cancellation, notice must be given via email or mail. The cancellation policy on the policies page gives details for how refunds are broken down.
How do we check in?
For reservation that are paid in full, check-in instructions (which include driving directions and the house entry code) are typically sent a week prior to your arrival. There are no formal check-in procedures, unless noted otherwise; just enjoy your vacation!
What time is check in and check out?
Check in time after 4pm, and check out time is promptly by 10am. We have very strict check-in and check-out times during the summer, as we have a very short window of time for our housekeepers to get the home ready for each guest.
What kind of furnishings and equipment are provided?
Homes are fully furnished with dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses, pots and pans, and small appliances such as a toaster, blender, microwave, and coffee maker. A standard supply of bed and bath linens, including sheets and bath towels are provided. Hot tub towels are provided with homes that have hot tubs. Please be sure to pack any specialty items that you may require during your stay.
Is there a washer and dryer?
A washer and dryer is available in each unit for your convenience, unless otherwise specified. Please clean the lint filter after each use.
Will soap and paper products be provided?
We provide a start-up supply of soap and paper products, including hand soap, dishwasher soap, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, as applicable. Depending on the length of your stay and usage, you may need to replenish these by purchasing them at local stores.
Is there a grill at the vacation property?
Yes, there are grills at each of our properties for your grilling pleasure.
Is there a DVD player and movie library?
Yes, we have TV(s) and DVD player(s) (some are even Blu-ray!) at each property, along with a movie library to get you started.
Is maid service included?
No, cleaning is provided before and after your stay. If you would like to have maid service please contact us for availability and pricing.
Is smoking allowed?
No. All of our properties are smoke-free. Washington state law also prohibits smoking within 25 feet of entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes that serve enclosed areas.
Where do I put the trash?
Trash is typically picked up curb side once a week. The house manual shows more information on the scheduled trash day and the location of garbage cans/dumpster and recycling stations in the area.
Are weddings or other special events acceptable on vacation rental properties?
Special event accommodations such as weddings, receptions, and family reunions are welcomed, and must be disclosed at time of your reservation. Many of our properties are ideal for special events, but additional fees and deposit may be required for special events which have additional use of the rental property.
When will my security deposit be returned?
Your security deposit is refundable within 30 days of check-out and after a thorough check-out inspection of the rental. For pre-approved pets, please be sure you have completely cleaned up behind your pet both inside and outside and there is no sign that your pet has been on the property.
