Reservations and Payment:
By agreeing to book a reservation with Vacation in Chelan, LLC, by providing us with the personal booking information necessary to complete your reservation, and by providing us with your payment and/or credit card information, you agree to be bound by Vacation in Chelan’s Terms & Conditions, which includes our Cancellation Policy. Until a reservation is confirmed rates may change without notice.
The initial payment of 50% of the total amount due is required upon booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to guest arrival, and will be charged to the credit card on file (when available). If payment in full is not received by Vacation in Chelan 30 days or more prior to guest arrival, reservation is subject to cancellation without refund. Taxes are subject to change without notice. For reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival, the entire payment is due in full upon booking.
We often receive multiple inquiries on the same property for the same set of dates. It is our policy that the first group to submit their payment, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and have their reservation approved will be the one that is able to make the reservation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards as forms of payment. We can also accept personal checks with a signed copy of the terms and conditions.
Cancellation notice must be given in writing via email or mail to: Vacation in Chelan, P.O. Box 907, Chelan, Washington 98816. If a cancellation notice has been received 61 days or more prior to the arrival date, there will be a 100% refund less a $100 cancellation fee; if 31 to 60 days prior to arrival date, 50% of total due for stay will be eligible for refund; and if 30 days or less prior to the arrival date, no refund will be given.
Pets are only permitted in rentals indicated as pet friendly and are limited to two (2) domestic adult dogs (no puppies). There is a pet fee of $50 per pet, and all pets must be approved in advance.
You must vacate your home on the last day of your stay by 10:00am. When you depart please leave the home in a neat and undamaged condition. We have a very short period of time to prepare the home for our next guests. The following must be completed: 1) Load and run dishwasher; 2) Remove all food and trash from home; 3) Place trash in the proper receptacle(s); 4) Wipe appliances, counters, etc. clean of excess spills; 5) Leave furniture arranged as you found it; 6) Clean grill if used; 7) Close and lock all windows and doors; and 8) Set cool to 80 degrees during the summer or heat to 60 degrees during the winter, and turn off the lights.
All of our properties are smoke-free. Washington state law also prohibits smoking within 25 feet of entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes that serve enclosed areas.
Items Left Behind:
We cannot be responsible for any personal items left in the home you rented. Please be sure to thoroughly check the home before you leave for any personal items. If after check-out you request us to search the home for a forgotten item and the item is found, you may pre-pay a reasonable cost for shipping and handling and we will mail the item back to you. Items found, and not requested to be returned, will be discarded after your departure.
Wedding Parties and Special Events:
Special event accommodations such as weddings, receptions, and family reunions are welcomed, and must be disclosed at time of your reservation. Many of our properties are ideal for special events, but additional fees and deposit may be required for special events which have additional use of the rental property.
